When we reference a platform limit (such as the 280-character limit on X or the 2,200-character Instagram caption limit), we confirm it against the platform's official documentation at the time of writing. If a platform changes its limits, we update our content and note the date of the change.

All articles and guides on QuickWord Counter are originally written for this site. We do not republish, spin, or lightly rewrite content from other sources. If we reference external research or cite a study, we link directly to the source so you can verify it yourself. Our writing guides are based on established style principles and the practical experience of our editorial team.
Review process
Before an article is published, it goes through a two-stage review. First, a subject-matter review ensures the content is technically correct and complete. Second, a copy edit checks for clarity, grammar, and consistency. Articles that reference statistical formulas or counting methodology are cross-checked against our own tool's implementation to ensure the explanations match the actual behavior.
Updates and corrections
We continuously monitor our content for accuracy. When we discover an error or when a fact changes (for example, a social media platform updates its character limit), we update the article and, for significant corrections, add a note describing what changed and when. If you spot an error in any of our articles, please contact us and we will investigate and correct it promptly.
Advertising independence
QuickWord Counter displays advertising to keep the tool free. However, advertising never influences our editorial content. We do not write favorable articles about advertisers, and we do not accept paid placements disguised as editorial content.
